"Folk i gata" is an exciting and original new bee  in the norwegian festival sky. The Festival aims to create a meeting point between cultures, sports and business, the world of arts and the local shops and trade men. Least but not last, between old and new generations. "Folk i gata" displays an as peculiar as well popular and not commercial cultural expression and serves it on the peoples own field- kitchen: the street. In this year festival we expanded our engagement from the previous years and we invited more then 2 500 children and teenagers to actively take part on the entertainment program and workshops. We offer, more over, the following: 43 professional artists from Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and France; the work of more then 70 artists from the whole Østfold county; an entire day filled with concerts, poetry, fairy-tales and other activities for teenagers; the Day of Music, the Environment Day and much more!
