After many years spent carrying people’s luggage, an eccentric hotel porter has learnt to look at things from a wholly different point of view and break the monotony of his alienating daily routine.

The show combines puppetry, circus, physical theatre, magic and comedy. In this way, Luigi Ciotta plays with a hot topic for a wide audience.
Abattoir Blues is the third part of the Trilogy of Abundance . After spotlighting food waste ( Funky Pudding – 2009) and sugar addiction ( Sweet Dreams – 2014), Luigi Ciotta tackles another hotly debated topic: the mistreatment of animals in intensive farming and society's ambivalent relationship with meat, which is increasingly burdened with new taboos.
