A journey through Eastern European folk music with participation of the audience.

We are going deep into the heart of Eastern Europe to Transylvania, Moldova, Galicia, Bukovina, Ukraine, Romania and Poland.
Here, Jewish klezmer music mixes with the Roman tradition and the local folk music in a terrific and atmospheric tribute to nature, life, celebration and diversity. Eastwind plays traditional instruments that are not often heard at home - turntables, Transylvanian cello, dulcimer, overtone flutes and Polish drums which are complemented by accordion, soprano saxophone and polyphonic singing. The concert culminates in an Eastern European ball with joint dances, where everyone can participate.
