Our newest international route takes Studium Actoris to the USA
A project with E6 Medieverksted and Vesterheim Museum in Deborah, Iowa relating to Norwegian immigration to the States. "A dream of milk and honey" is a celebration of history and the benefits of cultural exchange between USA and Norway.
The idea was to have students from both USA and Norway create a film together using stop motion animation. Through this medium they learned about the historical aspects of the Norwegian/American emigration/immigration past and present, acting as a mirror to the modern experience of immigration/emigration world wide and creating insights about the world around us.
A project between Studium Actoris, E6 Medieverksted in Fredrikstad, Teatro due Mondi from Italy and Vesterheim, the US National Norwegian-American Museum and Folk Art School in Decorah, Iowa.
