U14C - «Tanker om friheten»
Teatro due Mondi, cultural authorities from Bayamo and artists from Cuba were invited to Fredrikstad to create the show «Tanker om friheten». to celebrate the 200 year anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution.
«Tanker om friheten» was created in 2014. After a workshops conducted for some weeks by actors of Studium Actoris with teenager from the local amateur theatre company "Fredrikstad ungane", the professional met the amateurs to eventually create an emotional show. For this occasion bound Studium Actoris together the two lanes of its "Highway of Culture" normally connecting Norway with Cuba and Italy, to create a multicultural event where professional artists from 3 nations, joined their efforts with the locals to share thougths about freedom with the audience. This emotional show was performed twice during the celebration day, for a live audience on historical ground in Old Town Fredrikstad, were the actual documents leading to the declaration of indipendence was originally signed.
